Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced new school timings in view of rising heatwave conditions across the state. According to the latest update, government, aided, and recognized schools in Punjab will function from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM from 25 May 2026. The decision was taken to protect students from extreme afternoon heat.
