Punjab ETT 5994 Update: There is great news for candidates awaiting updates on the ETT Cadre 5994 recruitment. The Department of School Education (Elementary), Punjab, has issued a public notice confirming the next steps for 157 eligible candidates.
Following the recent station choice process, the department is now ready to issue appointment letters to these selected teachers.
Punjab ETT 5994 update Station Allocation Finalized
According to the notice, the department successfully conducted the station choice process for 157 eligible candidates on December 25, 2025. Based on the preferences submitted, stations have now been officially allocated to these candidates.
The department has clarified that the list of allocated stations will be shared with the respective candidates very soon.
Where to Collect Appointment Letters
Candidates are informed that their appointment letters will be issued through the District Education Officers (E.E.) of their allocated districts. However, a centralized distribution event has been organized.

- Venue: Tagore Theatre, Sector 18-B, Chandigarh
Eligible candidates must report to the venue personally to collect their joining letters.
Documents to Carry
To ensure a smooth process, candidates are required to bring the following documents with them to Tagore Theatre:
- Proof of applying for the post.
- Self-attested photocopies of all educational/relevant documents.
- Original Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, etc.).
- Self-attested photocopy of the Identity Proof (with photo).
