Join HerePunjab Sends 72 Govt School Teachers to Finland for Training:Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday flagged off a batch of 72 government school teachers to Finland for advanced training. The teachers will attend a special programme at the University of Turku from 18 May to 29 May 2026.
The Punjab Government said the initiative is part of its education reform campaign to improve teaching standards in government schools. The selected teachers include ETT teachers, head teachers, and education officers.
During the training, teachers will learn modern classroom techniques, student-focused learning methods, and digital teaching practices. The government claimed that several batches of Punjab teachers have already received international training under the “Sikhya Kranti” programme.
